Tenuta Tre Gemme Pecorino Abruzzo DOC 2021 – Country: Italy – Capacity: 0.75 Tenuta Tre Gemme In recent years, this grape variety has become increasingly popular. For that hint of aromaticity that distinguishes it but above all for its great versatility. In Abruzzo, Pecorino is offered both in sparkling and, as in this case, in a pleasant still version. Tenuta Tre Gemme produces it from the estate’s own grapes, harvested when fully ripe and soon delivered to the winery for processing. Vinification in stainless steel, in temperature-controlled containers, to ensure the perfect extraction of all the best aromas. After fermentation, the ageing phase is also carried out in temperature-controlled steel tanks. In the glass it has a beautiful straw yellow colour of medium intensity, the nose reveals notes of fresh fruit, such as apple and pear, to which are added notes of hazelnut and a slight sweet spice reminiscent of cinnamon. Good for a thousand occasions, this Pecorino can make the delight of those who are planning a light, vegetarian lunch. Alternatively, we are not committing a sin if we pair it with a fresh pasta with sauce or with delicate fish. For lovers of ethnic cuisine, Pecorino and sushi is a combination that will literally leave you speechless… good.
