Tenuta di Fessina “A’Puddara” Etna Bianco DOC 2022 – Country: Italy – Capacity: 0.75 Tenuta di Fessina Etna DOC Bianco, A’ Puddara is one of the good wines produced by Tenuta di Fessina. A wine of quality and characterised by a deep bond with its territory. It is produced in the contrada of Manzuedda, located on the southern slope of Etna, at an altitude of around 980 metres, an area lapped by the perennial snows of the summit and the flames of the volcano that give the wine a strong and distinctive identity. Carricante, in this case, is vinified entirely in large barrels, following the ancient tradition of Etna viticulture. This gives the finished wine elegance and personality. On the nose, very clear notes of cedar peel, broom, sage, wild herbs and iodine are perceived. In the mouth, however, it is freshness that dominates, with a subtle vein of smokiness completing the sensory experience. The finish is savoury and persistent, a typical characteristic of white wines produced in the Etna area. A’ Puddara has won numerous awards from international critics since its first vintage back in 2009. A wine representative of the Etnean territory, it goes well with typical regional dishes. Excellent with tasty fish and roasted white meats.
