Schola Sarmenti “Candora” Chardonnay Salento IGT 2023 – Country: Italy – Capacity: 0.75 Schola Sarmenti Candòra is pure Chardonnay. A white wine of great pleasure that comes from grapes kissed by the sun. After all, Chardonnay, as we know, is capable of bearing excellent fruit in many different situations. When, as in this case, it grows in a warm, sunny environment, it generates wines of great character, with hints of ripe, sweet fruit. In the glass it is a beautiful straw yellow colour convinced, while the nose surprises for the richness and breadth of its bouquet. You can recognize sweet fruits like pineapple, but also white peach and especially banana. Once tasted, however, all this fruit transforms into ample body and gratifying sip. Pleasantly fresh, thanks to a natural acidity, after the first sip you will gladly drink another. This is why it is unlikely the bottle will last the whole meal. Better to always have a second one ready to back it up.
