Sartori di Verona “Marani” Bianco Veronese IGT 2023 – Country: Italy – Capacity: 0.75 Sartori di Verona 100% Garganega. No concessions in terms of quality. Marani, in fact, is the fruit of a strict selection of grapes that come from hillside vineyards in the Soave area, north of the municipality of Colognola ai Colli. Bianco Veronese IGT, the perfectly ripe grapes are harvested and selected by hand, then placed in drying lofts where they are dried for at least 40 days, thus favouring an important reduction in the percentage of water and the consequent concentration of the sugars contained in the grapes. Traditional processing with a short cold maceration of the marc, part of the must is fermented in oak barrels. At the end of vinification, all the wine is aged “sur lie”. Intense golden yellow in colour, the nose recalls notes of ripe fruit and honey. In the mouth, on the other hand, it reveals a voluminous and aristocratic white. An important wine that requires a decisive pairing. Excellent with a rich risotto, it can also accompany fish recipes or medium-aged cheeses.
