Ramos Pinto Porto Adriano Reserva – Country: Italy – Capacity: 0.75 Ramos Pinto Dedicated to Adriano, one of the two founders of the Casa Ramos Pinto Winery, this Porto Reserva Superior Tawny is the winery’s true diamond in the rough. An elegant port and with great character that comes from a wise blend of grapes Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cào and Touriga Franca. Carefully crafted and matured in the cellar for over 6 years, this wine is the result of a blend of several vintages, capable of making the final result a wine of extreme pleasantness and complexity at the same time. In the glass it has a beautiful dark red colour with evident orange nuances, an unequivocal sign of the long oxidative ageing in the cellar. The nose is dominated by notes of very ripe fruit, among which cherry and blackberry are particularly recognizable. Then you discover notes of wood and dried fruit, jammy prunes and a nice balsamic hint that completes the picture. The taste is again fruity, with a perfect balance between alcohol, almost 20 degrees, and raw material. Elegant and not excessive, it proves to be an extremely versatile Port. Perfect served slightly chilled as an aperitif, it can also accompany an end of meal of absolute enjoyment with a mouth-watering dessert.
