Qui Artis “Buenas Razones” Crianza Rioja DOC 2019 – Country: Italy – Capacity: 0.75 Qui Artis Let’s start at the appellation. The one proposed here is a red that belongs to the Rioja AOCa, one of the most prestigious (and trendy) in Spain. It is proposed by Qui Artis Bodega, a fine establishment capable of combining tradition and innovation in a perfect way. It comes from a processing of Tempranillo and Graciano grapes, aged in French oak barrels. In the glass, it is a beautiful bright red color with purplish reflections. The nose surprises with captivating vanilla and pastry notes, while red fruit notes appear in the background in good balance with the wood. Finally, the mouth reveals a red of good character, with velvety, rounded tannins and good natural acidity. Medium body and smooth finish, roasted notes return due to its aging in French oak barrels. Ideal for accompanying all types of red meats, including more flavorful ones such as lamb and game. Also excellent with mildly aged cheeses. Good today, if stored properly in a cool, dark and quiet place, it will evolve well in the bottle for a few years.
