Querciabella “Mongrana” Maremma Toscana Rosso DOC 2022 – Country: Italy – Capacity: 0.75 Querciabella The most classic of Tuscans, Sangiovese, combines with the two internationals par excellence, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. This is Mongrana, a red wine proposed here by Querciabella. But there is more. Like all good wines from the Tuscan company, in fact, this Mongrana also comes from biodynamic agriculture. A label that, during the wine-making process, does not use animal products or their derivatives, and is therefore also suitable for those who follow a vegan diet. The must is spontaneously fermented using only indigenous yeasts, in steel tanks. Then, at the end of the transformation, the wine matures for a short period in small cement tanks until it is deemed ready for bottling. Ruby red in colour, the nose has clear sensations of black berry fruit, tobacco and leather. In the mouth, however, it offers excellent structure and a perfect balance between all its components. Fresh and mineral, this is the red wine that can accompany lunches and dinners with meat. Perfect with classic grilled meats, it also goes well with cured meats and medium-aged cheeses. Due to its vegan nature, it can also be paired with tasty vegetarian dishes.
