Poderi Parpinello “Josè'” Vermentino di Gallura DOCG 2023 – Country: Italy – Capacity: 0.75 Poderi Parpinello An authentic expression of the territory and the local wine-making tradition. We are talking about Vermentino di Gallura DOCG Jose from Poderi Parpinello, a company located in the picturesque setting of Alghero, in the province of Sassari. The company’s vineyards extend over unique soils, characterised by granite and sand, at an altitude of 350 metres above sea level. These privileged environmental conditions give the wine an extraordinary complexity and a unique aromatic profile. After harvesting, the grapes undergo a cold maceration phase, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature. The wine then matures for approximately 9 months before being bottled. In the glass, it has a brilliant straw yellow colour, with clear greenish reflections. On the nose, balsamic notes of Mediterranean scrub emerge, accompanied by elegant floral hints that give the wine a fresh and enveloping character. In the mouth, on the other hand, it stands out for its softness and savouriness, well balanced by a pleasant acidic vein that invites you to drink more. Perfect to enjoy when young, when it best expresses its vivacity and freshness, it goes well with seafood first courses.
