Piazzo Comm. Armando “Cortine” Roero Arneis DOCG 2023 – Country: Italy – Capacity: 0.75 Piazzo Comm. Armando We are on the left bank of the Tanaro river, where the Arneis vine has been a constant presence for centuries. Here, on the ridges of Guarene, the Piazzo winery has a vineyard from which they obtain this white wine that is fascinating for its fragrance and particular organoleptic characteristics. Vinified at a controlled temperature in steel tanks, this wine matures for a few months between tanks and bottle before being put on sale. Straw yellow in colour with greenish reflections, it has intense, floral and mineral aromas, with light fruity notes of hazelnut, lemon, sage and apple. In the mouth it is delicate, with a perfect correspondence to what is perceived on the nose. Harmonious on the whole, this Arneis goes well with all fish dishes, but in general it goes well with all delicate dishes, from starters to first courses.
