We are in the hills of Impruneta, in the heart of Tuscany. This is where Riccionero was born, a structured red wine capable of revealing the versatile soul of this noble grape variety. The bunches, hand-picked at the right degree of ripeness, are quickly delivered to the cellar to begin the delicate transformation phase. After destemming, the must ferments at a controlled temperature in steel tanks. The wine then matures for 18 months in second-passage oak barriques, acquiring complexity, structure and harmony. In the glass, it has a beautiful intense ruby red colour with garnet reflections that herald a wine of great character. The nose reveals a complex and elegant bouquet, where notes of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, liquorice and hints of violets stand out. An unexpected harmony that surprises and conquers.
