Lanciola Chianti Colli Fiorentini DOCG 2021 – Country: Italy – Capacity: 0.75 Lanciola Impruneta, the production area of this fine Chianti, enjoys a warm and temperate climate, with soils rich in marl and limestone. These unique pedoclimatic conditions create an ideal terroir for the production of very high quality grapes. Specifically, Azienda Agricola Lanciola’s Chianti Colli Fiorentini DOCG is produced from Sangiovese (95%) and Canaiolo (5%) grapes, a skilfully balanced blend that gives the wine freshness, structure and pleasantness. The grapes, hand-picked at the moment of perfect ripeness, are carefully selected to ensure the highest quality of the finished wine. Produced according to the traditional method, this Chianti Colli Fiorentini involves manual harvesting, destemming and fermentation at a controlled temperature in steel tanks. Finally, the wine matures for a few months in cement, preserving its liveliness and fruity character. The colour is ruby red, with garnet tones. The nose shows a broad and complex bouquet, with notes of red fruit, damp earth, chocolate, spices and leather. In the mouth it reveals a medium structure, with well-developed tannins and crisp acidity. The finish is long and persistent, with mineral and spicy hints. It goes well with typical cured meats, tasty first courses, grilled or stewed red meats and fresh cheeses. A versatile wine, it enhances the flavours of tradition.
