Bersano Dolcetto d’Asti DOC “Piandelprete” 2022 – Country: Italy – Capacity: 0.75 Bersano Best enjoyed young, this Dolcetto comes from the Asti area. It is a traditional red that guarantees great freshness, as well as a pleasantly vinous flavour. Harvested in the third decade of September, vinification here is super easy and accurate. Only steel, at a controlled temperature, to safeguard the goodness of the initial fruit to the maximum. Thus we discover a beautiful wine characterised by an intense red colour, with aromas typical and characteristic of the vine, and clear hints of red fruit. An intense and fragrant bouquet that preludes to an equally immediate sip. In the mouth, in fact, one discovers a harmonious wine, characterised by moderate acidity, with notes of raspberry and cherry. A wine of rural tradition, this Dolcetto is perfect throughout the meal. It goes especially well with first courses and risottos, but can also hold its own with tasty main courses such as the classic vitello tonnato. Excellent with fresh cheeses, such as the typical Robiola di Roccaverano.
