In this Pinkstone, Federici proposes a mix of grapes, starting with 60% Montepulciano to which are added, in different percentages depending on the year, other grapes typical of the area, cultivated in accordance with ancient and traditional methods, without resorting to invasive treatments. The vineyards are located in Zagarolo, where the winery is also based. Here the hills with rich tuff soils are perfect for growing healthy, quality grapes. DOC Roma, Pinkstone is an expressive and fascinating rosé wine, processed exclusively in steel, characterised by an excellent freshness and great pleasantness. Pale cherry pink in colour, the nose reveals notes of flowers and fresh fruit, with dog rose, nectarine and citrus. Then raspberry and herbs. In the mouth it is simple but not banal, soft and savoury, delicately fresh and with good persistence. It is simply perfect as an aperitif, accompanying fish and white meat dishes. Delicious with a fried fish or vegetable tempura.
