Arnaud Lambert Crémant de Loire Brut Rosè – Country: Italy – Capacity: 0.75 Arnaud Lambert We are located in Saint-Cyr-en-Bourg, in the Loire. An area characterised by sandy and limestone-clay soils, particularly suited to the cultivation of noble grape varieties. This is the birthplace of this interesting classic method sparkling wine, Crémant de Loire Brut Rosé by Arnaud Lambert. The Loire, it should be remembered, is known as ‘the garden of France’. It is an area characterised by an ideal terroir for viticulture thanks to the combination of cool breezes and mineral soils. The Saint-Cyr-en-Bourg area, from which the grapes used for this sparkling wine come, is no exception. Crémant de Loire, this Rosé is made from 100% Cabernet Franc, typical of the Loire region, known for its versatility and ability to express delicate yet deep aromas. Harvesting is manual and only the best bunches are selected, having reached the right level of ripeness. After fermentation, the wine undergoes a second fermentation in the bottle, followed by ageing ‘sur lattes’ (in contact with the yeasts) for at least 24 months. This process gives the finished wine a creamy texture and aromatic complexity. In the glass, this Brut Rosé has an intense pink colour, illuminated by a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it releases delicate aromas of strawberry, currant and rose petals, anticipating a fresh and well-balanced sip. The creaminess on the palate makes it particularly pleasant and versatile. Perfect as an aperitif, it pairs beautifully with fish dishes, fresh goat cheeses and even delicate white meat dishes.
