Nino Franco Prosecco Valdobbiadene Superiore Brut – Country: Italy – Capacity: 0.75 Nino Franco This is certainly not the ‘usual prosecchino’. On the contrary, it is a little gem, an oenological gem produced by Nino Franco, one of the territory’s most iconic producers. Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Brut originates in the heart of the Veneto region, where the hills are themselves masterpieces that the whole world envies us. Here there is ideal soil for the cultivation of Glera, the main variety of Prosecco. The slopes are sunny, the soil drains well and the microclimate is cool, characterised by mountain breezes and marine influences. These conditions naturally create an ideal environment for the ripening of grapes rich in aroma and flavour. Produced exclusively from Glera grapes, carefully selected from the vineyards in the medium and high hills of the classic zone, vinification is carried out according to the Charmat method, with re-fermentation in autoclaves. Pouring this sparkling wine into your glass, you will be amazed by the heady aromas. Hints of white flowers, apple, pear and citrus fruits create a delicate and persistent bouquet. In the mouth, freshness and sapidity, with fruity and floral notes. An elegant and refined sip that leaves a pleasantly clean and creamy sensation. Excellent as an aperitif, it is an ideal companion for hors d’oeuvres and first courses based on fish, vegetables and white meat.
