Nicosia “Lenza di Munti 720 slm” Etna Rosso DOC 2021 – Country: Italy – Capacity: 0.75 Nicosia A wine with a volcanic personality. After all, what else can you expect from an Etna Rosso ‘ Lenza di Munti of Cantine Nicosia is a wine with a great personality and complexity. Blend of autochthonous grapes, Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio, cultivated on the lava terraces of vineyards at high altitude, it combines the elegance of mountain wines with the marked mineral content deriving from its volcanic origin. Mainly aged in stainless steel, this red wine matures for about 4 months in tonneaux and rests in the bottle for at least another 6 months before being released to market. In the glass it is a beautiful bright ruby red colour. The nose reveals itself to be decidedly complex, with floral scents and notes that clearly recall red fruit. In the mouth, however, it surprises with its fresh vivacity. Soft and mineral, it enjoys a long and intense fruity finish.
