This type of sparkling wine, reserved exclusively for Franciacorta DOCG, is always based on a wine produced exclusively from white grapes, Chardonnay, as in this case, or Pinot Bianco. Essence Satèn is Antica Fratta’s interpretation of this Franciacorta style, where citrus notes blend elegantly with hints of exotic fruits. Straw yellow with golden hues, it has a particularly fine perlage and a soft, creamy froth. The nose is intense and harmonious. In the mouth, it is enveloping, elegant and persistent. It requires a delicate pairing. It is ideal as an aperitif but also accompanies delicate fish or shellfish dishes with real satisfaction.
